KENAÏ Swimwear is a sustainable, luxury swimwear brand based in Antigua & Barbuda, West Indies. Founded in 2020 by Amanda & Morgan, who both “live the island life” and live in their swimwear. The ocean is very dear to them, and they are constantly made aware of the impact that plastic waste has on the ecosystem in Antigua, and also worldwide. This is why they chose to build a sustainable swimwear brand and solely use eco-friendly fabrics. 

Amanda & Morgan each have a daughter, named Kennedy Isla (which means island in Spanish) and Kaï (which means ocean in Hawaiian). This was the inspiration for the brand’s name: KENAÏ. Everything from patternmaking, fabric cutting and sewing are done here in Antigua by an all female team of three. Each design is unique and has been carefully thought out, keeping all different body types and age groups in mind. We want our designs to encompass the idea that one bathing suit can be worn multiple different ways to suit not just one body type but ANY body. The versatility of our swimsuits make this possible.
